The Sun have chosen to partner UR-InThePaper Ltd to produce Personalised Sun newspapers. UR In The paper Ltd are the largest and longest established Personalised Newspaper company in the UK.


UR-InThePaperTM was founded by Rebecca Jayne Philipson, who, aged 21, suspended her English & Art History degree to pursue her lifetime ambition of managing her very own company.



In conjunction with a local software & website design team, Rebecca began experimenting with various techniques and methods to produce Europe's first personalised tabloid newspaper. After much development the company finalised it's bulk production methods and the fully automated system was created.


Rebecca has appeared on BBC Dragons' Den, Sky News and This Morning as well as being profiled in National and Local newspapers and radio.


Rebecca won Enterprising Young Brit of the Year 2006 as well as being Runner Up for Most Innovative Idea. In 2007 The company was Runner Up for the Best Internet Business 2007 award. In November 2007 Rebecca won North East Young Entrepreneur of the Year and was Runner Up for North East Business Executive 2007. In December 2007 she won Natwest Everywoman Artemis Award for entrepreneurs aged 18-25.


UR In The Paper Ltd is now the largest supplier of personalised newspapers in the UK and partner companies such as News International, Tesco, Manchester United and Chelsea FC. They were the first company in the UK to print a personalised newspaper live on National TV and have the capacity to produce in excess of 10,000 personalised newspapers each week all of which are of course ..."Guaranteed to Make you Smile"


Based in the Grade 2 listed Weardale Business Centre in County Durham, the company now employs a dedicated team who pride themselves on an excellent product backed up by superb customer service. Rebecca and the Team are thrilled to be working with WH Smiths and other retailers to bring the personalized newspaper to a wide range of people throughout the UK and abroad."
